Default Exhaust Comparison

My Friend's 2004 Impala LS, 3800 Series II N/A
-Resonator delete
-Flowmaster Original 40 Series muffler
My 2001 Monte Carlo SS, 3800 Series II N/A
-Resonator delete
-off-brand mufflers

OK when I got my car it already had aftermarket mufflers on it and I had no idea what they were. Then a couple days ago my friend replaced the stock muffler on his Impala with a Flowmaster 40 series and it sounds pretty similar to my car. My mufflers don't have any markings on them at all, anywhere. I took a picture of the inside of the muffler through the tailpipe (lol) and it doesn't look like the inside of the Flowmaster 40...

I have no clue what kind of muffler that is. But it's a BA picture! How did you manage to take it?

Haha thanks I literally just took a flashlight and shined it down my tailpipe and pointed my camera down the tailpipe and snapped it.

I think you may be right. This picture resembles what my picture shows.
