I love my monte when i come out of the car wash and i see it all clean and shiny im like damn i love this. But i have had a few thoughts about selling it. I know im crazy and i love the car but i love trucks as well i could sell the monte and my tahoe and buy a newer mabe 05 Silverado. The one thing is that i dont have a garage for the car and a house that we are looking at is about mile out of town in country and i dont have the heart to drive it up and down the county road all the time so i think im gona sell it. I know 10 years down the road im gona regret it just like my dad regrets selling his 80 Z28.

 

well as much as i tried myne never sold. but you are right they do look good. so i have decided its staying til it dies!!!!! but anyhow goodluck with your sale and hope to see you in a new truck. i personally like the 08 gmc sierra 4 door short bed. looks good

With all the trouble I went through to get my 05 supercharged monte - NEVER! And I will never sell Precious either. I will drive that car till it falls apart.

 

I don't want to jinx myself either. But I would like to keep it as long as possible.

 

Mine will probably be gone after I have it payed off in 4 years. lol That isn't to say I don't really really like my Monte though.

 

Only every year when I had to re-re-repair the rust in the lower quarters of my '86 LS Monte.

It got to be VERY frustrating.

For some reason, it hasn't needed repaired the past year or so? Maybe it got the message finally?

Or maybe it saw the "RUST-FREE" replacement panels a friend got me from down south and decided it was time to get in line?

 

The Top 10 list is gone so we're all good.

 

I have, alot. Like when the tranny gave out and such. Wait till I can afford your car and Ill buy it haha.
