Hi i got a 04 monte ls 3400 and my transmission went out so i am thinking of swapping my 3400 engine for a 3800 with supercharge.so please can anyone let me know if its possible

 

Sure it's possible you need a new wiring harness and computer probably have to change gas lines and need some of the exhaust from the 3.8 along with new coolant hoses., the complete aiir intake system , different motor mounts and alternator. The Ac system will probably be different. Would imagine that I'm forgetting a few things but thinking your changing engines for more power . Cheap and easier way would be with a shot of nitrous oxide.

 

Yes very possible and actually quite common.. You only need a few pieces out of the 3800 car other than the engine.. The wire harness, get it tuned, and the MAP sensor to read boost..
