Remove your passenger seat, back seat, spare tire and anything else you can think of that will reduce the pounds....

cut a good light and be consitant each round with the light and speed you get to.
shift every time the same as you did the time before or as close to it as you can if it showes it is inproving then keep going with it.

you can win a race with a slower car byt the light alone or by launch.

So i would focus on worring about cutting a perfect light. and also running it as hard as you can each time. to be the same as the last . your goign to fall in to teh bracket racing cat. or in to the foot brake more then likely so go have fun and get a taset of it this time next time you will have a idea how to drive it better. and use this as a good learning BUT FUN experince

104+ is some pretty good stuff and also like the new out but sont remeber the name. comes as a 4 pack for like 8 bucks here in Gemrany but it is on base so you can find it there also.

Weight reduction will help. First, do not have more than 1/4 of a tank of gas. More fuel means more weight. Here is a little perspective, a 5 gallon can of unleaded racing fuel (100 octane) weighs 40 pounds. Imagine having a full tank. 1/4 of a tank should be sufficient. Second, empty everything out of your trunk and all loose articles in the passenger compartment. Might be better to empty it out at the track if you can have somebody watch it for you. If you're gonna put in octane booster, I suggest that you, if you aren't already, put in 92 octane or higher in the tank. Having your tires inflated to max psi will reduce rolling resistance.

don't waste your money on octane booster. if you want to go fast and have any traction problems a good set tires will fix that. get a free flowing full exhuast on your car, with cut outs.
