Man, with the picks I have seen. This really doesn't need to be classified as a rebuild. It's definitely a beauty already! I wish I still had mine, it was an 84 SS. It was nice, but definitely not as in good of shape as yours! Got to love those pins to hold the headliners up! I also noticed your center console lid seems to be in decent shape, which is awesome. Because those things wear out easily, and aren't cheap. Awesome car man! Can't wait to see more pics!

Oh ya, does that have the 305 in it? That's what I had, I was going to swap it out for a 350. But once it she got stolen, that went out the window. You still have the stock rally wheels on it?

The saddle color (tan) is a rare color for the SS's, was only available in '87 and '88 and not many had them

Thanks for the compliments. I lucked out when I bought this. Interior was in really good condition. Just needed a new headliner and a clean up.

A little more work done today, cleaning up the engine bay.

Before:

GOLD!!!!

All done. Trying out the color on the braces, seeing if I like it. I realise that it's not complete so the gold may not look right now, but this is the start of my theme.

Nice. I'd like to get those top plates for my car.

WHY is it the emissions decal won't stay down flat? Mine is thesame way.
The original decal did.
