Do you intend to keep your Montes forever?

Though there are LOTS of other cars I'd like to own, we'll probably keep our '02 Monte 'til it dies. We bought it new; it's in great shape, especially for 160K miles; good operating cost / performance ratio; value if we sold it wouldn't match it's value to us. I'm not emotionally attached to it the way some are, but it is a great car.
If we get a new-ish car in the near future, it will be something for my wife. Then I'd sell my old car and inherit the Monte as my daily driver. But with college expenses and bad economy, I don't see that happening any time soon.

I love my Monte, but me and my '84 Camaro are lifers.... I hope to keep my Monte in clean condition and out of our salty winter crap for as long as I can, but the moment my car "collector" options are "Chose between the Monte or the Camaro", well, the Monte looses.... I've known my Camaro longer then I know my wife. The Camaro and I have a lot of history (and hopefully when I get to fixin' her back up, lots of other good times ahead).

I have 146k and i know that isn't the highest either, i think theres some members that are over 200k. I'll be driving mine until i hit an expensive break down probably only being a major engine or transmision issue. Being a college student as well i dont have the funds for another car or major issues. But i'm confident i'll be driving this car for quite a while

Mine was about 140k back in 2004 when I left for college, then my car stayed up in the Poconos until I graduated college in 07 and moved out of center city where I felt it was safe to bring with me. Now I barely put much on it, and it's only up to 182k
