One thing that I always thought was frustrating though was when you hit the pick and pull and the cars your picking are WAY nicer than the one your saving...lol

Never really thought of that.. Kinda funny how true that is..

If you end up making a grill, let us all know cause some of us were not lucky enough to ever find one and the whole fabrication idea has been thrown around here and there but nobody has ever pulled the trigger..

Or you could improve the 6th gen Monte by swapping the entire body and cabin of this W body. To make it easy just swap the entire car and call it a day.

It's completely debadged, which screams "accident" to me. Also, there's no way to be sure since it IS debadged, but it might have the DOHC 3.4, which would mean it absolutely isn't an improvement over the 6th gen.

Yeah they've been discontinued for a while, so you either have to get really lucky to find some stock that hasn't sold, or find a person selling theirs

you know there is a few sitting in the bone yards...lol.. People that get a car and its there and never really noticed it. I know I never noticed it but typically a person doesn't until you are into certain cars to the point you can point all these little things that people look at you in response like.....ok??? Now I know about the grill and will point it out to people now...lol

So the original post was addressed but I was reading through this thread and just had to comment. Personally, I agree with Jason on this. I mean, the 1994-99 doesn't have any Monte styling at all, zero - it's a 2 door Lumina. At least the 2000 got back to 'some' past Monte styling cues even if they were subtle. And I wasn't really a fan of the 2006 right when it came out but it grew on me quick and now one sits in my garage.

Personally I like the Knights Crest, and on mine I'm surprised it wasn't DE's #3 , but I also have a Fetish for Asian women, so I guess to each our own :-)
As they say Beauty is in the eye of the Beer holder :-)
