Describing Each Generation
It's funny how much of what MC owners discuss revolves around the "generation" of their car(s). How do you describe each generation in a nutshell? Here's mine:
Gen 1: Trendsetter. Redefined personal luxury styling for the intermediate class.
Gen 2: Romantically lavish, if somewhat baroque. More than any MC, this generation was all about the driver.
Gen 3: Beautiful and modern, but tragically overlooked among enthusiasts.
Gen 4: One word – Legendary.
Gen 5: Like vanilla ice cream; pleasant and easy to digest, inoffensive but unremarkable. Great for racing, though.
Gen 6/7: Retro-chic. Throwback styling touches, and an available V-8. All it’s missing is the RWD.
