Default Dealer wants my car

I got a letter in the mail today from the dealer saying they want my 2002 SS. They are prepared to give me up to an additional $1000 for it. I thought it was interesting. I have no plans to sell my car though. I love her too much. Anyone else ever get a letter form the dealer wanting there car? Did you give in and sell it to them?

I still get crap in the mail from a local Chevy dealer saying they want to buy my Silverado that I traded months ago and that they'd give me some ungodly amount for it - then you read all the fine print.

X2, I get them periodically also, but mine is a 2006. It's just a way to get you in the door to purchase something new.......

Maybe next time I'll just bring in my 99 Monte and see if they notice.......

I'm sure they want to sell you a clean, one owner car driven by a little old lady too. If they really needed a 2002 ss i'm sure they can pick one up at auction.

I've gotten that non-sense once in a while on the cars in our fleet. Best of all, getting it almost RIGHT after buying a new car.

The ones I've seen are willing to give additional hundreds/thousand dollars when traded for a brand new car. With the fine print reading, cannot be combined with any additional offers. So you could get an extra $1000 for your car, (which they already won't give you much on trade for) but you also no longer qualify for low interest financing and do not qualify for any of the current dealer incentives..

Totally not worth it

They're just trying to get more people in the door so when someone sees $1000 EXTRA FOR YOUR CAR, they might just stop by a dealer lol. Those types of letters make for a good laugh once in a while though.
