Nice your taking a cherry there, should be quite the extraordinary experience. I too have never been top a NASCAR event, been invited a couple of times to the Vegas track, it's only 5.5 hrs. down the road from me. Be safe and hope you have a great time...

It took 2 people for that shot. It was taken from the balcony at our hotel and my wife was the photographer actually. I was in the car, but I had set that whole shot up mentally before hand and told her what to snap. I got a few different beach shots and one was used by CarDomain on the front page when I was Show Off of the Week there. But the salt is not good for the car! That was a "one-off", as was the trip through the snowstorm to get to Daytona in 2010. The BudChev never saw snow (or beach) before or since

 

Daytona race track will look quite different this year.
I just got back a couple of days ago from Daytona it had scaffolding all along the front of the track, and inside the track has new seating.
Went to the race shops in North Carolina on our way home. Lots of changes there also.
Wish I was computer savy enough to post pics.
Went to race two years ago in Daytona and yes the sound of the cars passing by in a pack is way different then on TV ENJOY.

 

Well once again, God is good to me!! as I stated earlier I bought 500 tickets for my bro and I, He said he couldn't afford it so I just got them. He has done a lot for me over the years and his birthday was Feb 6th...anyway at work Wed night a guest at the hotel who works for sprint gave my buddy two tickets to the 500 for helping her! later that night when she brought them down for me to give to him the next day she also gave me four tickets and fanzone wristbands for the races today (Feb 14th)!! $99 tickets!! very nice!! Of course I could not use them and my nephews couldn't go so I put them on craigslist Thursday night for $150 and sold them Friday for that!! So im blessed, someone got a great deal and I recouped half of my ticket money! God is good all the time!!! just wanted to share that!! : )

 

Make sure you wave at all of us here on the MCF as we watch the 500 from home!!! Where are your seats located??

 

Enjoy the experience Dude! The Daytona 500 is on my bucket list. I have been to many races at Charlotte, Richmond, Martinsville, Darlington, and Rockingham. I can't wait to hear the freight-train at Daytona and Talledega!
