I checked the cables and they were ok. Now the reverse lights are pulsing on and off for the whole night even with the keys out of the car.

Sounds like the BCM took a dump. Another member has a video of the reverse light issue.

Im gonna have it towed to a dealer on monday. I hope they dont fudge me over on the price.

Dealer price should be around $450 out the door if it is indeed a BCM.

if the "security no start thing" is the same thing mine was doing when i bought it, the dealer charged me $200 to fix it.


mine wasnt turning over and just flashing the security/battery light.
they tried replacing the ignition, but that didnt solve it. they finally fixed it and all they said was "you had some kind of security system that thought you were trying to steal it... we took it out"


i was under the impression the previous owner had this installed. but if other people have experienced this hell, then maybe its a factory installed anti-theft nightmare.
