Daily driver or Sunday driver?
Mine is a weekend driver only. Never sees snow or rain.I drive a 94 Beretta to work and I have a rusty old Chevy 4 x 4 for when it snows alot. No problems at at all with my 04 SS SC although I think my front struts are about shot.
Things I've had to replace.
'81 - carb rebuild, air filter, plugs & wires, cap & rotor, rear wheel cylinder, front pads, wire wheel centers replaced at Sears expense, seats, tires, shocks, exhaust & muffler, wiper blades, driver side door glass motor.
'86 - fuel pump, carb rebuilt (only cause I wanted to), front pads, battery, tires, air filter, wiper blades, cap & rotor, plugs & wires, water pump (only cause I wanted to), heater & radiator hoses, new radiator, all new belts (again only cause I wanted to), end link bushings for front sway bar.
'06 - Onstar battery, car battery, Onstar battery.
'03 - the ISS was suppose to be taken care of before we bought the car. I have my doubts the Pontiac dealership did the work they claimed to. Missing lug nut covers replaced. Replaced the missing Pace car decals.

Mine is for sure a DAILY driver....If its lucky, it gets to sit without being started maybe twice in a month. However I usually don't put large amounts of milage on the weekends usless I go on a road trip...Durning the week though at least 80-150 miles per day. That explains almost 77,000 in only two years. (I bought my 06 New with 91miles on it in June of 2007).
I've had a water pump, power steering pump, and radio (CD Player), go out, all fixed under warrenty or GMPP extended warrenty. Then I had to take it in because the temp gauge was reading stone cold, turned out to be programing issue that dealer fixed in half hour.

mine is a daily driver, i'm not a huge mile per year person, but now i'm looking to get a decent winter car since i purchased my monte a few months ago!! i'm currently looking for a 5th generation monte just because of the knowledge from the MCF, if i have questions!! i could drive a little kia **** thing but no way will i, unless i'm very desperate!
I never expected so much feed back. Keep responding to the posts, they will be read. 2 of my good friends have Montes my mom owns an 03 SS and she's completely jealous because i got an 04 supercharged SS with 57k on it, we all love them to death. The only problems that I've had with mine is the gauge cluster, dealer fixed it when I bought it, and the rear view mirror on the windshield is broken. . . not the mirror itself but the assembly so it flops around, dealer supposed to be ordering new mirror. I love my car and it was worth every penny.
