Default cross drill rotors

I would like to put on cross drill rotors starting with the front. How much would they cost & were would be the best place to get them? there for a 2006 monte lt3. Not looking for the best ones, but ones that won't warp, like the stock ones.

Go to Ebay and check it out...I got 4 Drilled and slotted Rotors and pads for the front and rear for $200.50 with free shipping.

R1 Concepts are cheap and supposedly reliable. There are other options of course, some even cheaper. Most are cross drilled and slotted though.

R1 concepts are cheap garbage. There have been a few threads on mymonte about heat cracking around the holes- and I remember a few awhile back from clubgp too. I got all 4 corners for my monte, and my fronts are starting to get little cracks as well.

My question is, why do you want to put drilled rotors on your car? A good OEM replacement solid rotor works fine.

Yep, as a member of MyMonte also, I have seen quite a few threads about the R1 rotors cracking after hardly being used.

Damn, sorry to recommend them. I've literally read nothing but good reviews. I personally wouldn't go cheap on breaks.

just my 2 cents, but i would not ever get drilled rotors. not good for longevity. if i would get a "performance" rotor, i would just get the slotted ones. when it's time for me to get a new set, i will be getting the OEM rotors. they have been the most reliable and perform just fine for the street IMO, based on my past experiences.

thanks for everyone's input, as i stated, the stock rotors are a little warp. And cutting them will help, but cutting them will make them a little thinner and they will keep on getting warp. That's why i want to put on better rotors so they won't warp. Granted, coming back from Tenn. this pass summer i had to hit the brakes hard 2 times, so slowing down from 85 to 50 mph cause the rotors to warp a little. I still think the rotors should not have warp, but they did.

Yea, the stock rotors suck. I've warped two pairs. I made the dealer do a brake job when my car had 3,000 miles on it. They turned the rotors, and replaced the pads. At 19K, the same problem...so I took it to the dealer again, raised all kinds of hell, and they put brand new rotors on my car and new pads. Now i'm at 87K, and still have pad life after 68K, but the rotors have been warped for a while now. I'm just living with it until I wear out pads, then i'm going with the D/S from Ebay! I actually already bought them.
