Default Corvette detail!

Yet another beautiful car! Same guy who had me detail the boat for asked me to restore the paint on his corvette.
Didn't do too bad for someone who doesn't use a buffer!

Album:

Here are some quick pics...

hood's swirl marks (oh my god!!!!!)

This is the finished section to the right of the previous pic.

A closeup of the paint correction.

Before. The pic is dark, but you get the general idea. Its lost its reflectivity thanks to oxidation

The beauty afterwards.

Products used:
clay
Meguiars ultimate compound (on the hood)
Meguiars ultimate polish
Meguiars High-tech yellow wax
Purple power degreaser(under the hood)
Back to black for under the hood trim and Meguiars ultimate trim restorer.

Nice job, a lot of work without a buffer. I am waiting for FedX for my Flex 3401 to show up at the door, my shoulders are wore old & wore out so no hand polishing for me.

Keep up the great work and hope you get the detailing gig going you will be successful for sure.

Great job Jen, what a remarkable difference your work has transformed his corvette into something he can be proud to be seen in again. Excellente! I'm tickled to see your pulling in these gigs and what a great form of self satisifaction your detailing projects must provide you. Taking a vehicle from Blah to Bling. What a hard worker you are....

Haa! I do admit I get pretty tired..but thanks to my daily job, lifting heavy parts and batteries help.
& that was nothing special, its his son's Xterra. What is really beautiful is whats in his garage. I liked the look of the corvette, but he's got a nicer 1970's stingray with the black and silver two tone paint. 0nly 3000 miles on it too. He lifted the back part of the cover and wowwwww
