Anyone on here from eastern mass that has a code reader? I want to check them but my dealer wants $110 just to read the codes.

I paid $59 for my 1st Actron, a basic model, but as you can see, it paid for itself the 1st time. If you want even cheaper, free is good! Go to Auto Zone, or a few others, and they will do the scan for FREE, and then let YOU erase the code, for FREE! You will need to diagnose the codes ou CEL codes. yourself, probably, but that's easy on the internet, or here. Several sites that will tell y

Thanks for the tip.

When I had my 93 SHO 6 years ago there was a troublesome check engine light on. So I simply took off the dash and broke the light with a screwdriver. I am not trading this car in anytime so I think id rather get a reader for my Monte.
