Clear Corners?
I remember (retired) moderator Mickey talking to someone a long time ago about removing the amber part of the lens. He bought the clear corner headlights back when they were still available, so he took his stockers apart to see if he could make his own.
He said the amber plastic is permanently bonded with a chemical that won't let you remove the amber piece without damaging the clear lens. The factory did NOT use normal glue.

To answer the question about the amber corners - it's not illegal to remove them , however, if you don't have them you have to have an 2 amber reflectors somewhere on the font of your car.
My father's Milan doesn't have amber in his turn signals, but lower on the front he has amber reflectors that aren't hooked up to anything. By law you have to have reflectors so at night, if your lights stop working, people can still see you (or if you're parked at night, on a street or the like). That's why tail lights have that ring around them when you hit them with lights, as well as on the sides they have that bit of red to reflect at a side view.
