Default Changing speed sensor.

My abs, trac off and service traction system lights are on. Went and had it read, which revealed codes 1. C1226 RF- Excessive wheel speed sensor variation. 2. C1233- RF wheel speed sensor circuit open or shorted. I replaced the harness with 970-040 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Wire Harness on right and left side. Still lights are on. Do I replace speed sensor? If so, where is it located? I believe I found it but how do I access it to replace?

What car are we talking about?

I assume it's a 2000+ Monte Carlo. All of those sensors are non-serviceable inside the wheel hub assembly.

You will need to purchase and replace the whole thing. I recommend Timkin hubs.

I was up all night searching and found a wire that was faulty. I rewired it and lights off. It was on the connector leading into the hub. Thanks for your input.
