there are 2 tabs labeled 87 (87 and 87a). i tried both and my lights still came on. i also pulled the fuse and it left the right headlight on and made the left dim.
it's 8pm here now so maybe it's just dark enough that the night driving lights came on and no the daytime lights. i'll try again tomorrow.

New to the forum -- and found this thread today. Wish we'd known about it sooner -- would have saved a lot of trouble in trying to disable our DRL. Each day we try to read some of the older threads, figuring we can answer a lot of our questions without annoying posters with questions answered multiple times before.

The Daytime Running Lights are on because extensive research proved that having them on could be the one reason that prevented someone from hitting you head-on!
Having said that, ... further discussion about disabling them is ridiculous!
Here's how to have Fog Lights turn-off when you Park the car:
Run the LOAD to the LAMPS through a RELAY which is Opened/Closed by a FEED from an Accessory Fuse Terminal via a "Fuse Tap". Ground the triggering signal to the RELAY to the Frame. When you turn the Key OFF ... the Fog Lights ... Go OFF!
Phase two:
Run the LOAD for the LIGHTS to a spot where you have installed >>TWO<< Power RELAYS.
Splice a wire to the Load Wire enabling the Load to ENTER >> BOTH << Relays.
From BOTH Relays: Run a Wire OUT and SPLICE THEM BOTH to the Wire Feeding Power to the Lamps.
Trigger Relay #1 with a Feed from Low Beams ON
Trigger Relay #2 with a Feed from High Beams ON
Using Siamese Speaker Wire
Attach one end to Relay-1 Trigger Ground
Attach other to the Relay-2 Trigger Ground
Run Grounding Wire through Steering Column Boot to SWITCH Location on Dash.
Install 3-Way Switch: A-On - B-ON Center-Off (DPDTCO)
Run #1 Wire fm Relay to Switch-A+ and additionsl Wire fm Switch A- to Ground
Run #2 Wire fm Relay to Switch-B+ and additional Wire fm Switch B- to Ground.
Fog Light Operation: Ignition Switched Power for Lights. User preference: ON High or ON Low or Off.
