I am not planning on doing this tomorrow since i only have 75K on my motor but I would like to know if anyone has an opinion on this topic. Can I swap out my LZ4 3500 for a LFX 3.6 from an impala 2012-2016? I assume I would need to change the computer and tranny along with it among other things? Anyone know if it would fit seems like it would looks very similar as it sits in the impala. Next question anyone have a guess on price of a junkyard pull of an LFX motor (and tranny)? I am no expert on modding or swapping engines so i thought i would throw this out there. The reason for all this would be power/performance since i am only at 211hp and the newer LFX is 300hp. I don't want to try to drop the V8 in it and I think I am to attached to my monte to give it up or trade for an SS etc. Any info or guesses appreciated
