Default Caddy tail lights

Ok. were driving down the rd. An older caddy goes by us. Turns on his turn signal. Loves those that blink like that. We get a bit closer to him. The tail lights looks damn close to the ones on my 06 Monte. Now I'm wondering if I could ge the wiring from that Cadillac and make it work on mine. Or if the tail lights out of that yr would be a good fit in place of mine. They look so close. Well at 70 mph they did .............Any Ideas

They will not fit in place of yours, but maybe you could stuff the led stuff into a monte taillight. In the end, it would be cheaper and easier to buy an aftermarket set of tails off of ebay in my opinion.
That being said, those caddy tails do look nice.!

Check the tail lights here:

I've seen a guy with a 3rd gen Camaro using this (expensive) tail light mod. They are freakin' BRIGHT!

I think it's a cool effect. I've always liked the look of the sequetial tail lights. But it's really hard to get the full effect with how narrow our tail lights are. Even the camaro and caddy tails in the posted samples are kinda narrow in my opinion.

It would be nice to get the effect on a Monte. But you just can't beat the full effect of the original sequential tail lights. Like this 1967 Mercury Cougar:

Edit:

Or this 66 Charger. I love the throatiness of this engine BTW.

Thanks Taz. I never saw tails like that. Other then on a Mustang. But I like the effect.
