Blue LED Dashboard light
Hey everyone. In the process of joining the local Fire Dept. around here, and doing that allows me to have a flashing blue light for my car. Thought the Monte wouldn't look good with a light like that but it looks pretty cool. Thought I should share with you guys :P
And a few video clips showing the flash pattern:

Are you just allowed to have the one? I'd put a few more in honestly, because you'll find a lot of people drive w/ their head up their behind. You can't have a siren though, right? I know here all our POVs have full lights and sirens on theirs.

Yea, here the law says you can only have 1 forward facing light for volunteer firefighters (Kinda pushing it since it's a dual LED, but they won't care about that :P ). Here, blue is volunteer firefighter, green is volunteer ambulance companies, and red is for police/fire vehicles. And no, I can't put a siren in. I would absolutely love to, and my dad already has an old siren box laying around, but that's against the law :P
And thanks everyone for wishing me luck.

Yeah, here everyone can basically run anything. City cops, sheriffs, state troopers and park rangers all run red and blues. Fire (including volunteer), ambulance (including private ambulances) and transit authority all run solid red. And everyone can run sirens. Not to mention, all the cars are lit up like Christmas trees (even park rangers and volunteer firefighters... full light bars, wig wags, strobes, LEDs everywhere)
