Blend door actuator 07
Yes, you can just unplug it in the meantime, especially since it's just the one for inside/outside air.
I fought with those a ton on my 08 Impala. Over ~100k miles, all 3 stock ones failed, plus the first one I replaced (the one for inside/outside air) had the aftermarket one fail once also.

That sucks..I have had three impalas and never heard the clicking. Anyways I put the cheaper than Doman in my Monte and its working fine still
I have a 2007 Monte Carlo SS. When I purchased it, two blend door actuators clicked. Before I installed the replacement, I liberally sprayed the blend door pivot arm with spray silicone. I reasoned that the attachment point had accumulated dust or grit causing binding resistance that leads to broken gears. After all, it's just plastic on plastic right? I have passed this tip on to several mechanics who have had customer call backs because the new replacement failed after a short while. In every case, the spray silicone saved the day! Remember to use the sprayer red straw to direct the silicone stream. After 4 years of ownership, I have not heard a peep out of the actuators. I hope this information is useful to you fellow forum members!
