Default Black Friday Goodies

So I made two purchases for the Monte Carlo on Black Friday.
- The W-Body Store 8 Piece Mount Kit
- Front and Rear ZZP Strut Tower Braces

I gave up on holding out for UMI Performance to make some STBs (all they offer for the W-Body is trailing arms, but I have a BUNCH of UMI Performance goodies for my F-Body in the garage, great construction). I was going to shoot for BMR STBs, but I could not pass up the deal from ZZP!

The WBS mount kit, I'm not sure I'll use EVERYTHING in the kit, but the price was too good. I only *really* wanted the square poly upper radiator mounts and the trans/engine mounts (they are solid rubber, from what I understand, the factory ones are hydraulic, rubber filled with fluid, so solid rubber a plus). And if I EVER plan to lower the Monte, the shorter dog bones might be important.

FYI - Not sure if anyone has messed with WBS/ZZP/3800Performance or other poly radiator/dog bone bushings. These WBS ones look/feel/smell like a dense rubber, NOT poly. Poly from all my experience is more like plastic. For ME, this is a plus, as all I really wanted IS solid radiator bushings. But any info from peeps out there?

And the LAST pic, yes, WBS products and ZZP BOTH captured in the SAME pic!!

Those strut tower braces look really nice. They are going on the want list.

HAHA! If I can bring my self to do so, I might put the STBs on soon (mainly because they should be a quick bolt on, pending the old need to oblong the mounting holes it no longer existing).

Being "outdoor storage" limits what I'm willing to do and when I can do it during this time of year.

Thanks all! I was kicking myself in the butt for not getting the STBs LAST year when ZZP had them on Black Friday discount!

And the mount kit will be put to good use.

- I got the STBs at 40% off, roughly $100 (give or take) to my door.

- The 8-piece Mount Kit from WBS was $100 shipped. The WBS kit includes:
1 Solid Engine Mount
1 Solid Transmission Mount
2 Polyurethane Dogbone Mounts (These are the cylindrical
mounts that go towards the top of the dogbone)
2 Polyurethane Radiator Support Mounts (These are the square
mounts on the other side of the dogbones)
2 Shorter Dogbones

I figured for $100, when what I really wanted was the radiator mount bushings (cheapest price I've seen on those is $30) this kit was NOT bad. Looking at the CHEAPEST prices on what was in the WBS kit, it probably has a normal retail value of $150-$200.
