Default Black Brake Rotors

I see these blacks rotors for sale on EBay

Never have seen before.

Question is once you install and they start to wear I am assuming the friction surface does eventually turn metal color and does not stay black?

Yep, they are just a coated rotor that will wear off with use pretty quickly. But they look really nice when you first install them

Not that I'd ever advocate buying cheapo ebay rotors again, but I do very much like coated rotors. Helps keep the rotor looking nice for much longer, even if the coating does get immediately removed from use. The upside is that the areas that aren't used stay nice for awhile as long as you don't get them crazy hot.
