Best $50 I spent on my Monte so far - Thexton engine tilter
Well I have been dreading doing the switch of the stock plugs to some NGK-V TR6's because of the back three plugs and the cramped quarters back there. My hands are fairly large and this is a tight job under the best of circumstances.
Well I found out about this Thexton GM engine puller that hooks up to the dogbone mount and allows you to wind the engine forward. I thought what the heck, I need to swap em out and finalize the PRJ wire install too.
This thing was just amazing to use. So simple, and so strong. I was able to crank the engine forward several more inches and get my hands back there as well as my tools to pull the plugs and put in the wires. No damage to the skin and no bruised knuckes.
Although I did have some trouble when the plug socket dropped off the #6 plug and fell between the rear manifold and the cover. But I managed to get it out.
Here's the engine puller, I recommend adding this to your specialized tool collection. I'm glad I did.

Plus they were a very fast shipper. Two days from ordering (on the weekend no less) and arrival via UPS ground.

Those are very easy to use, and good.
But it's still $50 for something that you can just rock the engine, or even use a ratchet strap. But if you have the money to spend, it's definitely worth it.
