It's VERY VERY easy to do, you just probably need a second person if your garage door has a rolling code on it (meaning it changes frequently so people can't grab the old frequency and be able to open the door)

You basically just put the homelink system into learn mode, and press the button inside the garage (by the door mechanism probably) and you have (not much time) to push the button in your car.

It took about 5 minutes to do this in both my Monte and my Parents' Monte back when I lived at home.

Good deal. I read the the manual, but it didn't work by just putting the clicker by the HomeLink buttons, so I gave up. lol I'll figure it out. Thanks!

Putting the clicker close is how to do it for a basic garage door. But if you have one with a rolling code you HAVE to use the program button for the door, not the clicker.

For us there is a small RED button by the light on the garage door track, that's what we had to press.
