100% agree. Honestly, I like mine better, hence why I bought it instead of a supercharged '05. I actually think the redesign made the car look a lot tougher. The car being "Monte-like" doesn't mean crap to me, personally. Not to mention the interior improvements.

 

There isn't a gen I dislike, in high school I drove a '68 Impala and had two buds that drove montes one a '70 and the other a '74. Then one recieved a new '78 for graduation lucky bast....., I believe that was the year they intro'd the SS monte unless I'm mistaken. anyways why not have one of each gen...actually two..a daily and one for the week ends.of course a third so as not share with the other half. humm! 7.14 21. then theres the jarheads offspring X two....forget the garage I'll need a barn.... RJ!

Look bro, with all due respect, I apologize if I offended you. . . But no, they don't look exactly the same. I'm not saying they're completley ridiculous, because they arn't. They are still nice cars but I think they could have made different changes and kept the hood lines, bubbled headlights, and emblem. Also, my mistake about the 05s I was wrong. . . I do like them all but I loooove mine, they're all great generations. . .

 

i like my 7th gen and also thought that the 5th gen's were also kick ars as well. just wished that chevy put the montr crest where the chevy emblem is in the grill on my gen and have the chevy emblem on the back. but thats my opinion but i like both designs

Yup. That's the result of a bad headgasket. It's too bad because that was a nice 5th gen.
