Been pondering...
The rust under the fuel door is really bad though.
Back when her husband was living(in poor health), a few years before he died, he backed the car out of the garage to wash it and hit the house in that spot and took it down to bare metal. Well, she took it to the dealer to be fixed (mistake #1). The rust bubbled up soon after, so she took it again and they fixed it again. Now it's all about to pop open. They didn't fix it right, or it wouldn't have come back. My mom's cousin is an EXCELLENT paint & body guy, so he could fix it once, and fix it the right way, and it wouldn't come back.

If my 1998 was the same beat up ol' thing it was when I got it two years ago, I'd jump all over it. I've just put so much into it. And my mom bought me my new headlights for my birthday, and I would feel bad, lol

Hi Kyle, I 4-got about your 74 Monte

with only 68K miles...Is there any way you could afford to buy your Aunt's Monte & just add 2 your collection

I know you put a lot of work in2 your 98, but I think with what you've done to it that U could get a good price 4 it & have a super low miled 97 that looks like it's in showroom condition 4 it's age : )
p.s. U could switch lights & make your Mother Happy 2 : )
Wish you Good Luck on your decision 4-Sure...`Space

The '74 Monte just rolled over 70,000 miles. And no...there would be no way to keep the 98 and get the 97. We don't have the room...
The Plymouth belonged to my grandfather.

She's 79 years old and doesn't drive outside of her city over 35 MPH. She don't need 300 HP, lol.
Wish I could keep both cars. We don't have the room. 6 cars already, at 2 different properties and barley enough room as it is.
