i would have kept the 03 i dont like the new ones
+1

I also like the older gauge cluster better because I'm partial to having the full gauges. The only thing cool about the radio is that you can plug your ipod into it and don't have to mess with any sort of adaptor.

welcome back home. glad to hear your safe.

As far as the new montes those shots from Space just proved it to e that i go tthe one i liked the most LOL

I was not real fond of this style when i first seen just the front end but now im really glad i am not buying one. i dont like the dash at all for the guages etc..

It is the same but still very diffrent.

but would have to agree the power would be a nice thing to have.

I wish I had an 06 Monte waiting for me when I came back. Does anyone know the biggest you can go on the 04's engine bay? I would love nothing else than to drop an LT1 in that bitch. Hmmmm...

Will it fit though? Especially that the Monte's bay is set up for transverse mounted and transaxle, would you be able to plop one of those big doggies in there? I'm going to have to check into that.

Interesting. Very interesting. Now the only problem would be finding a decently priced LT1 and someone willing to do the work.
