Yea 8k on an a v8 coupe that's nearing 9 years old is gonna be a bit on the tuff side to sell. I mean that would be my asking price too but I'd espect to get 6300-6700 out of the car cash. The 8k asking price I bet will delay your sale, if any one was/is interested they will >>>porpousley <<<(I miss spelled that one and I don't know the correct spelling to it)hold off on calling you hoping for a price drop in a week time if not most will attempt seeing the car but when all you're neighbors are letting go of theirs for $2000 less why would anyone bother with you. They'll get the idea you're obviously not a car guy and not remotely even know the real value of you're car.

 

I would say around the 8k mark myself. Highway miles are better than city miles, much less wear and tear on the car driving down the highway than in stop and go traffic.
