hello everyone! im looking to get some brighter blubs than my stock ones driving at night with bassically no street lights is just getting way to dangerous for my liking. i want something bright and clear so i was thinking HIDs? i dont want it to be blue like alot of people i want the brightest white possible....any suggestions?

i have hyper white lights and they are pretty bright. they light up more of the street and visibility is alot better. there not HIDs but there very clear and not that yellow tint BS

4300k HID is the brightest WHITE (before getting color)you can get and in my opinion is the best Kelvin/Lumens you can buy for visibility. The highest HID rated buld I would go is 5000K. 3000k is great for rain/fog so pick up a set of those for you fogs or matching 4300k if you don't want the yellow(3000K) bulbs.

There's a thread that discusses the brightness of the HIDs, I think it's in the how-to section for 6th gens. I think it has the info you're looking for. I just installed some 8000K on mine and those are plenty bright. I'm in about the same position as you with no street lights.

anyone put hid's in our foglight housing? will 35watt 880 bulb fit in there and not burn out the plastic?
