am i the only one who cleans behind the gas tank door?

 

Am I the only one that cannot stand anything extra in the Monte?
As in no change, no extra clothes or any of that random nonsense that all my friends seem to have in their cars. If it's in the car it's secured so its movement doesn't bother me.

Am I the only one that uses my Monte as a daily driver? 98k miles on the '06. I put 25k on the first year we had it.

 

I wash mine 2x a week !

I park far as hell from the front door !

 

I keep a fire extinguisher in the back seat. Other than that, the car is basically empty inside.

In the trunk I have a box with some common problem solvers. Some coolant, tools, jumper cables, oil, gloves, etc.

 

Am I the only one that has to "De-bug" their Monte (front bumper, hood and windshield) after a trip with Detalier?

Am I the only one that can not stand dirty floor mats ands shake them out even when there are just a few specks of lint or dirt?

Am I the only one that HATES water marks on the paint?

 

I always park at the far end of the lot and consume at least two parking spots. Every once in a while though I'll come out of the store and some jerk will have parked right next to me...even though there are fifty plus other spaces they could have chosen.

I wash my Monte a couple times a week. In between washes it gets spot cleaned with detail spray and a microfiber cloth.

I live in Seattle...'nuff said.

I use three mitts and two brushes. One mitt for the body, one for under hood/door jams/behind gas tank door/under trunk and one for the wheels. I use one brush for the wheel wells and one for the tires.

Am I the only one that cleans the top of the fenders underhood, the door jams, the sunroof opening and under trunk?

Am I the only one that uses a California Duster to wipe the car down if any dust has settled on it before I drive it anywhere?

Am I the only one that treats the weatherstrip to keep it soft and functional?

Am I the only one that checks my tire pressure on a weekly basis?

Am I the only one that checks my lighting on a daily basis?

 

Am I the only one that hates any kind of chrome trim on the monte? :p

Am I the only one that likes to keep the interior as close to stock as possible... besides the headunit?

Am I the only one that won't let people smoke in my monte?
Am I the only one that actually uses the courtesy handle inside the trunk to close the lid? < I don't like fingerprints...
