just wanted to ask before i go strip this 2004 monte carlo down and put it on my 2002 monte

 

Body parts, yes. There are some electrical changes between 00-02 and 03-05.

 

Curious, is the 2004 you are stripping down yours or a junk yard? If it's yours, you may have some folks interested in some parts if you wanted to sell and ship. I for one, looking for the heat shield that snaps on to the plastic gas tank. Need one that is not rusted. And if this is not something you are interested in, all good.

 

Most parts from a 2004 should fit a 2002. That includes doors, hood, fenders, and trunk. Just be careful with trim or special editions since they might be different. Some wiring like mirrors or lights could also vary.
