Exclamation Air Intake ?s

So I was messing around on amazon and typed in Monte Carlo ss intake and found a few Ram Air Short Intakes. Anyone haev an opinion on them? If they sucka dn are not worth it thats all I need to hear. But if they're ok I think for $46 bucks I'll buy one.

Lol and is that honest I guess I was wrong I need to hear why now lol I don't doubt they arnt any good just based on price but havent heard anything about them either

Short ram intakes in the engine bay only hurt performance by sucking in hot air. An intake with a good source of cool air and a heat shield or one with a filter outside the engine bay are the best way to go.

Thanks for clearing that up I was kind of thinkign of that didnt think it would draw any cold air but wanted to get the facts first thanks mrl930

All it does it give you better throttle response which people mistake as added horsepower.

So is there any suggestions on an intake? would you be able to get a better filter and use the stock box or is it better to get a whole new intake and box?

You need to buy another pipe for $20 to make it longer .. Here's a pic of mine ..
