Everyone has a right
Everyone has a right
to their opinion.
[:-]
Hi James, I agree that everyone has the right.
I do think that freedoms can be abused : ( I think that opinions are like rear ends,
everybody has one, some just stink more then others : )
(like space's post zometimes : )
That's why they created Forum's like the MCF
aaaah the Freedom to express, ones opinions.
I just know that words can hurt. I do my very best not to hurt with my
words, or with my acts. `amen
We are so fortunate to live in a country that we can express our opinions/thoughts.
So many in our World can not [:@][X(][:@]
Who in the heck ask you for your opinion ? LOL - LOL j/k
`Space looks into his mirror, and says "Are you Talk'in 2 Me?"

No, no, no RJ. DON'T hit them with your fist, you might hurt your hand, LOL. I couldn't help but notice that the nutless wonder didn't bother to actually put his NAME on the article. Gee, wonder why?
As for the car critics, they ALL hate American cars, with the exception of the Corvette. As for it being against the law, it's only against the law if you get caught.......
Those of us who actually OWN and have owned Monte's in the past know exactly what we're getting. That's why we're here, and that's why we love our Monte's.

RE: Is It Against The Law?
Didn't we already agree in another thread that all those hateful car critics can, "honk on bobo"?
IMO... driving the base model around for an hour (or less) doesn't make you an expert authority on everything about the entire model line. Okay, so the base model didn't have much "oomph" when taking off from an intersection. What about the high end SS model? Didn't try that one, did ya?
That's why Ireferred topeople who actually owned a 2000-2005 Monte Carlo before I bought mine. You want an expert opinion on a certain car? Ask someone who owns/owned one. They're the experts.

RJ, ditto on what `Mark posted on his above post
[hr]
RJ., my grandfather taught me to respect my Monte Carlo,
and she would respect me.
He said if I would abuse her, she would abuse me.
I've found him to be a very wise man : )
There are a few that thrash their Monte's [:@][X(][:@][X(],
and those are the ones that have all the problems, and
they seem to blame the Monte Carlo. They think,
and drive like they are NASCAR drivers, but they don't have
a pit crew/owners to repair the damage they have done.
Then they trash talk the Monte,and turn in2 Ricer's : ) [:'(][]
I've seen how you take loving care of all your Monte Carlo's
I think you have to own one, and drive one
to really appreciate the design, and the engineering that
went into the machine called

Chevrolet Monte Carlo
RJ, just
[:-]
and EnJoy your Awesome Collection of Monte Carlo's.
Peace Out

RE: Is It Against The Law?
I would not worry about it. In the year I've had my Monte, I've received nothing but good comments about the car from a very diverse group of folks.
As long as I am happy with my Monte, that's all that counts.

Excellent points from everyone who responded. Well GPD telling me to go to bed wasn't that good a response. But he has a right to his opinion.
I had just stumbled on the that review of the '06 Monte while doing a research for offered colors in 2006. I did find one site that allows you to change the outside color of the 2006 Monte by clicking a button. (kind of cool to me)
But I thought those of us who enjoy our Montes would find this review interesting if not somewhat one-sided cause I feel the author didn't give the car a chance. And like was posted, if they'd have test driven an SS, LTZ, or 3.9 equiped LT3 they problably would have written how nice they thought the car was just before they got fired for doing so.
