Hello all!!
I have a issue with my 96 LS. The gas gauge jumps and the temp hardly moves. My question is are they some how connected? All the other gauges work fine. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

Only at the cluster I think. The gas gauge is determined by the fuel tank level sensor, the temperature is based on the thermostat & coolant temp sensor. If you have access to a scanner, see what temperature your coolant is at. Mine used to get 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up the gauge until the fans kicked in... Now (different motor) it only goes like 1/8 to 1/4 of the way up with a 180 degree tstat.
