Default 96 keeps getting too hot.

so my 96 z34 is driving me insane now. ive put 4 thermostats and three water pumps in it in since april and it will do good for about two weeks and then it will get right at the redzone and stay there. i can be driving less than 45 and it will do this. and when i come to a stop and press the gas the rpm's will drop to about 600 and the car will almost stall and then they will shoot up and almost put you in the ditch at less than half throttle. and when i shut the car off there will be coolant POURING out of the reservoir and steam come out of the radiator cap and the reservoir lid. but it wont get to overheat status. can anyone tell me why my monte is being so friggin bi-polar.

You could have a warped head, or gasket and air is constantly getting into the cooling system.

There doesn't need to be coolant in the oil for a gasket to be gone and air to get into the cooling system.

You need to get yourself pressure tested I believe.
