GM performance heads reworked by Kris Starnes, Dart intake, Eagle crank, Mahley forged pistons, h-beam rods, Comp pro magnum rockers, 3/8 hardened pushrods, Pro system dominator carb, hooker super comp headers and 3 inch exhaust with x-pipe. It also has a Griffin radiator and low profile electric fans, MSD ignition and a FTI turbo 400 with 8 in. converter. The tranny is by JW. This car was built by a professional engine builder with no expenses spared. The car it self has a near perfect body done in black. This is a great buy for the money. It's definitely a nice build, but imo way overpriced. Unless there has been additional work done not mentioned in the ad then a lot more needs to be invested. It looks like the money was invested in engine/trans mods, but what about the frame? What about suspension? What about brakes? What about the differential? This car needs a lot more $$$ invested to be 'complete' and reliable. Even with the engine/trans combo it has $15K would be the very MAX I would consider paying for this unfinished project.

 

Thank You `Mike for sharing your thoughts/opinions....I showed this Monte to my grandfather & he stated the same issues that you did.

You sure know your auto's & about built cars...Thanks much for sharing your knowledge on this thread & with all our member's...

If I had the $'s to be in the position to purchase something like the above, those are questions I would be contacting the owner about..Now, I'm still in auto dream land
