Just bought an 85 monte ss with a 305 motor in it. I want to swap it out for something bigger. Leaning toward a 350 just because of the availability and that its a lot cheaper than my other thought of a 383 or an ls1. It's carbureted, and i was wondering if i can put in a fuel injected 350 or if it has to be carbureted as well. Also, based on the year, what computer will it have in it, and will that need to be replaced along with the motor? Other than that, is there anything I need to know going into it? I know the 305-350 swap is very common, but I'm new to the idea and since I'd like to do most of the work myself, I figured this was the best way to figure some of this stuff out. Thanks!
