Hi guys. I found a craigslist add for an '84 SS and its listed for only $1200. The only issues listed was that there was some rust above the doors. The price seemed a bit low to me, but then again Im no expert on Monte Carlos, so basically what im asking is: is that a fair price for this car and is it a good car to buy

check the floor boards, is it an original SS? check the vin, have you driven it?

 

check doors, floors, frame, aspecially the rear frame rails, check teh trunk, pritty much anywhere you think there could be rust!

Theres the link. I havn't seen the car in person yet. I forgot to mention it said the interior is bad, that doesn't really concern me too much though.
