id agree with you on that being the rarest color. its probably the best color too. followed by laser blue.

op i personally like the black cars with the silver ground fx. thats actually what i wanted but settled on the first one i found that had low mileage and was sold by a chevy dealer with a warranty. i personally hate the victory red. jewel tintcoat looks ok, but it looks way better with the factory galaxy silver rally stripes and ground fx. they really make that color pop.

on a side note. can the 07s be tuned with diablo stuff or is that an hp tuner only? i know the 06s can, but was unsure if the 07s could.

 

Sounds about right.. For the reason of it being the Red Jewel Coat seems to bring or demand a higher price. That is the Monte I am after right now, the prices have been between $14,900 and $19,000. So, your at the right part of the scale of what I've been pricing... Good luck to ya if you get it.. The ONLY ISSUE I am having is buying a car sight unseen... Just in pictures with a description. I never purchased a car from another state n had it shipped, that's why I didn't bite on the first two I found... Let me know how your deal goes... Thanks...mjclemm..

the 07s may be the same deal with the 07/08gxps? different pcm? not 100% sure though since i dont own one.

and yes black and silver is a good combo. word on the street is the victory red ones are faster though.

 

Well guys I have been doing a ton of GM TRUCK shopping lately cause i changed my mind and decided i need/wanted a truck I test drove one and have been pretty serious about another. But something tonight sparked my interest to consider monte carlo's again. Im going to try and decide what vehicle I want over the weekend and put a plan into motion. And i think that 07 jewel red in WI for 14k with 65,000 miles is a darn fair price.

 

im also thinking truck myself. i like the 2wd v8 colorado. theyre pretty good.

I bought mine 1 year ago sight unseen other than the pics on Auto Trader. There is no other one around these parts (western NY). It was my mid life crisis present to myself !
If I could figure out how to post a pic of it I would!
