Not doing anything to engine you can go with diff drive ratio on transmission. Cant remember where I saw it but I saw a kit that changes the ratio from 2.93 to 3.26 or 3.93. If it works same as it does on rear axle on a old car going with either of those will increase accel but hurt mpg.

Not a bad suggestion if it was RWD, that would be more exstensive work than minor engine mods, and you would have to get a tune becuase the gearing in the computer would be way off and probably drive like crap,

Plus tearing down a trans isn't somthing amatures should be trying to do

Gotta learn sometime lol. he asked for acceleration not more power. You can increase acceleration without increasing power. on rwd its easy never done it on a fwd tho.

if you want better acceleration, weight it you're enemy... take out whatever in you're car you don't need/use and that'll help slightly

Intake, Rockers, New Springs, Downpipe, Tune with higher shift points.

DONE.

Also stop launching your car in a "gear", put it in Drive and keep in that way. If you feel the want to "shift" your automatic then you need a tune.
