i hadn't really thought too much about having a 300+ hp v8 in a fwd car... but i had driven the impala ss and had a bunch of fun with it (smoked the tires a few times etc..)... however my monte was such an easy choice because she is so beautiful however, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the 06+ MC SS's (or other models)... that 5.3 ltr v8 is an utterly terrifying beast... i got to drive one yesterday because my friend perry's boss has one... he hasn't modded it hardly at all and i was flying in that thing... was quite a fun afternoon i must say but my headers are still not put on so i guess i had a little bit too much fun hahahahah.

get yourself down to a nice 3.0-3.2 pulley with supporting mods and a tune that gives you 0° of knock and you'll take that Monte down!!! :P
