I have a 2000 monte carlo ss with the 3800 series 2 engine. I found a 2006 pontiac grandprix with a 3800 series 3 supercharged. How hard would it be to swap out the series 2 for the series 3.

 

Not hard.. Depends on your skill level tho. Basically if you know the workings of the power train, with a little "learn as you go" you can get it swapped in. Just have a small stash of money for unexpecteds.

You'll need l67 fuel rail, injectors along with throttle body and adapter

 

Along with matching tq converter
