3800 clubs
Does anyone know of a 3800 club/forum on facebook? I'm in a group with a gm repair/buy and sell but that's mainly trucks, the main reason I'm wondering about this is to find good deals on parts and to talk more about our montes, since most of the members here are further up north from me IL never be able to be at car shows with you guys, not many people around louisiana has 3800 powered cars.80% of the vehicles here are Silverado and suv's,I'd be willing to make a page for us on Facebook to keep us members more connected,I use Facebook mainly for sourcing parts and projects

If you don't mind branching out from Facebook to other Internet forums and don't mind other make 3800 cars, there are a few other websites you could try out:
Clubgp.com used to be the biggest 3800 forum around with members all across the country. It has dwindled quite a bit lately, but is still a huge resource for information via searching and for classified ads (a lot of unique 3800 parts go through there- csc kots, gmr parts, etc). Keep in mind, the forum is a lot rougher than this one in how people treat each other.
3800pro.com started by Intense Racing as an alternative 3800 forum to clubgp (which was heavily biased towards ZZP), there is a good deal of tech info still available there via searching.
Grandprixforums.net is coming to be the more popular grand prix site nowadays. A lot of the members that got banned from clubgp went over there. It doesn't have as big of a searchable history as clubgp, but it does appear to be a bit more active lately if you're looking to find local 3800 people.
I know what you mean about having few montes in the area, Phoenix is the same way. For some reason, the 3800 scene really seems to have been centered around the midwest with nearly all of the major vendors between MI, OH, and IL. If you branch out to other fwd 3800 cars though, they're usually pretty open because at least you have nearly identical platforms even if the badges and bodywork aren't the same.

I've stopped by a few other sites but that's why I chose this site first,I've received more knowledge and help than I thought possible lol,but I recently found a good page on FB it's called WBody Nationals and they're pretty cool.
But yea like you was saying there is not many 3800 lovers around my area,we have grand am's and impala's instead of grand prix's and Monte's,I did recently start noticing we have a ton of regal's and rivieras so that where I will source my engine at,
It really sucks being down here because I always hear people talk about meetings and shows and they are multiple states away, the only shows we have are local kids or scrapin' the coast and they are mainly focused on bagged trucks
I'd be more than happy to start a page for us representing MonteCarloForum.com if the admin wouldn't mind, but I don't know if members here are active on facebook,
The WBody nationals club I'm friends with on fb represents intenseracing

Alright Dub IL check them out,it would be nice if we had members that were a little more close to the south lol being from Louisiana blows since everyone is up north,as much as I'd like to see other members cars and personally meet them would be cool.i have yet to find any true 3800 lovers around here, every monte carlo I've seen around I can remember exactly how they look because we have so few

Not too much in Fla. but I'm moving to Tennessee so hopefully there's more going on up there. Although I'll be in a very remote part of East Tennessee. Every time I search for anything for my MC Google takes me right here. So this is the best place for info.
