I got into an argument with this guy about his car. He said he had 262hp. Then he changed it to wheel horsepower. His mod list was a Summit Racing chip, Edelbrock intake and exhaust manifold, Edelbrock transmission (4sp auto), high flow fuel pump, flowmaster exhaust system, K&N intake and a dyno tune at Midwest Customs. Kept saying he would get a video of his 1/4 mile numbers and dyno number, but not until spring. We went back and forth in the comment section.
I was like that's funny, Edelbrock doesn't even make transmissions. After that he deleted all my comments and changed the video description to "stock car". Before he did that the description originally read "my 260hp Monte Carlo".
Sorry guys I wish you could have seen it before he realized he got caught in his lie. I posted this here but it took a few days before it actually posted to this forum. I just wanted to get an opinion from you guys to see if it was actually possible to get 268 whp from a 3100.

I'm not sure about 268 whp out of a 3100, but this 3400 ought to come close:

Okay, this thread makes a lot more sense now. Thank you for clearing this up Cheeto, lol.
It would take a LOT of money to make a 3100 put down 268whp, I'm talking well over $10k and even then I can't see it happening. The MOST whp that I've ever seen out of an NA 3100 powered car was something like 187whp. The most whp that I've ever seen out of a NA 3400 was 227whp. Both of those cars had a LOT of time and money invested in them and I just don't see it being practical. I tried the whole NA thing with my 3800 and could only muster 222whp out of it.
With our v6's, we have to have boost if we want any real hp out of them.
