Default 2007 MCSS info needed

I have found a good deal on an 07 Monte SS and I am needing to know how much you can mod these cars with it being a fwd. I'm wanting a late model muscle toy but can't really find an affordable GTO, G8 GT, or Camaro SS. Thanks in advance for your help!

Anything is possible with money. Cartuning makes turbo kits for them...or you can always go the cam and nitrous route. LS engine parts are compatible with it. Plan on a transmission build if you plan on pushing it very far.

I know the general routes of hot rodding, I'm just used to rwd vehicles so it's the fwd part that concerns me. Is there aftermarket hi-performance cv joints and/or axles available? Headers? Is there body mount or subframe issues with more power? These are the kind of things I'm concerned about.

A good person to get in touch with on anything with transmission or driveline is Dave from Triple Edge Performance. He really knows his stuff. As far as I know anything used on the 3800s have a good chance of working on these. Just never looked into CVs.

Two companies make headers. Doug Thorley and OBX Racing. The DTs are ceramic coated but the OBX ones are not. Other than that they are the same exact thing. I have not heard if DT quit making the ls4 headers or not I have heard they didn't pop up on their site.

Biggest thing is ready that transmission. I suggest a good tune, shift kit, and a big cooler. That will get you a bit of life out of it without having to do too much. I make to the wheels what I made stock at the crank now on a stock transmission with those things and have been doing well so far.
