They won't run out of headlights anytime soon....as they are the exact same part on Impala which is still being produced. They'll replace mine as often as they need to be.

This is the exact problem I'm talking about when I say foreign cars are built "better" or differently. You don't hear about these problems with foreign automakers. Unless they just aren't reported.

A little off topic here........

Two weeks ago I was told there will soon be a complete floor pan for Classic Chevies with all the needed body braces welded on for $999. It's Chinese made and at one time 99% of all Classic chevy owners swore, "No overseas stuff on my car."

But this price will sway them from the $2600 a place called C.A.R.S., INC is currently getting for a floor pan that has no body braces attached to it. You have to buy them extra.

Your radio in your LTZ has been replaced twice already? For what problem?

First time was when the car was like one month old.

Last time back in june it was cause I told the srvc department I could hear the CD player running with no CD in it? Like when you shut the car off but don't get out directly. I could hear the player operating. And suspected it may be the root of my battery draining?

Doesn't look like it was.

So much for the Chevy guy (Mike) calling me back yesterday.

I plan on calling him in a few minutes to see what kind of info he found out for me?

I'd still be leary on the quality. I would want to compare them otherwise you might get a $1000 piece of tinfoil.

Can't be too unlike the pieces of tinfoil we drive around now. Push too hard on the doors, quarter panels, or hood while waxing and the "metal" will push in and pop back out!
