The mods will have to wait until I get the few maintenance things done first. Here is a link to the sale ad for this car. I don't know how long it will work but there are about 12 pictures of the car and a description of the car.http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...5&aff=national

decent pics, you have to see if she still has the front plate fillar plate thing with the #8 on it still? you may not be able to use it if you have to display 2 plates on your car, but it would be good to have.

She still has the front filler plate. Its on the rear floorboard. We have to display two plates here in MO so it will have to stay off. There is also some type of cloth bag that has the #8 all over it in the back floorboard. I don't know if it came with the car or it was something she just had.

Congrats on your purchase. Sounds like you got a great deal according to NADA. Does she have the embroidered front floor mats also?

Thanks guys. I picked up the car tonight. The embroidered mats are in the car and in very good shape. The back mats are also there. The cargo net is still in the trunk and she even left a sunshade in the trunk that looks new. All of the manuals and the info CD are in the glove box as well as the original window sticker. The numbered certificate is in what looks like a picture frame. I'm not sure if the frame is original or not. The bag that was on the back floorboard looks like it is actually a Dale Jr purse. She gave me three sets of keys, two had the keyless entry fobs.

The tach didn't seem to be doing anything funny like I thought the other day when I test drove it. It does have a slight front end shake while driving but not bad. The front tires are Pirelli's while the rears are Goodyears with not much tread. So I'm looking at probably having to get some new tires and an alignment done. Do these cars require four wheel alignments?.

At what mileage are you guys changing spark plugs and wires? The wires on this car are the numbered Delco ones that are probably original but look almost new. All of the windows except the winshield are tinted and the back three are very dark.

I just want to thank everyone again for their input. I'll try to take some pictures sometime soon.

the shaking could be caused by having 2 different types of tires, but an alignment would probably be best anyways along with new tires. always good to know for yourself when things were done with a used car, even if the previous owner says they've done things prior to selling. and yes, it is a 4 wheel alignment that must be done for our cars.
stock wires should still be decent, but arent horribly expensive to replace. stock wires are great on our cars, but if your looking to upgrade (not really neccessary but i've done it) go with the PRJ wires. they are great from what i've heard and i plan on swapping mine out within a week or 2. the zzp wires i have are garbage and am almost positive they are giving me misfires.
