I found one at a dealer on car gurus close to me 02038 area code Ashland and it has 27k miles on it but it has no flags on it..i have not seen one without them,he said it has not been painted...was it an option? or do they all have them..what do you think? door hinge was gone on drivers side and it had an exhaust tick when I started it...al

I think this is an imposter. It lacks the check board decals (which are decals, not paint), two tone door panels, seats and taz decals.

I think it's a nice 03 monte that some one put a few pace car pieces on (like the gray steering wheel, shift ****, limited badge and pace car dash badge.

I almost wonder if this is really an 04 (as I believe 04 only had SS badges on the rear quarters with out Monte Carlo paired with them).

If it's a real pace car a call to gm with the vin number will say for sure.

 

this looks like mine! my 03 ss pace car also does not have the checkered decals,taz but in 03 they didn't have the two tone seats and door panels like the '00,'01,'02. the interior is black seats with bowtie embroidery,grey shift ****,grey and black steering wheel. im pretty sure like mine someone ordered without decals,which I like,decals don't last and I think they only looked good on 2000's in black! IMO! also the Monte carlo script is there on the rear quarters if you look, they are body color blue!!

 

Guess the vin will tell .. I dont know if i should persue it, found an dale sr car i like with 78k on it..
